日前,ATFX英國機構專業客戶部運營總監 Matt Porter 和ATFX英國機構專業客戶部高級客戶經理Marc Taylor做客FX168財經網。

1. Can you tell us about ATFX and ATFX Connect?

ATFX Connect is our new bespoke multi-access platform service designed for Institutional investors including banks, brokers, hedge funds, HNWS and other proprietary vehicles. The aim is to provide a bespoke liquidity solution to all of our clients whilst offering a highly competitive price and first-class customer service. As the name implies, ATFX connects and provides our institutional clients with competitive spreads across 65 different currency pairs (including Gold + Silver) whilst offering access to over 20 liquidity providers, including tier 1 bank and non-bank liquidity. This milestone in the history of the company now also reflects how ATFX has evolved from being recognised as a retail only Broker to an innovative and rapidly growing fintech company with the capability to facilitate and partner with a range of more diversified clients.

With a large percentage of the world's population residing in Asia it was a natural progression for ATFX given their reputation in the region to expand their FX offering from a "retail only broker" to becoming a recognised FIN TECH company, designed to cater for multiple investors.

However ATFX believe that UAE and GCC countries, Singapore and other South East Asian Regions along with the cities of China, such as Shenzhen and Shanghai are fast becoming areas of expansion and are attracting increased investment from the global business community. With offices already in these locations ATFX is an attractive business partner for institutional customers looking to find a broker who can offer them a full range of trading solutions designed to fit their needs.

Over the last 12 months ATFX has invested heavily in technology and staff (we have +100 developers) to develop our new trading platform and back office system. Given the recent constraints on the retail trading market from regulators which has led to consolidation from many non-bank liquidity providers and with the increasing demand from larger institutional clients in the region for consistent competitive pricing , access to greater liquidity and improved trading solutions. ATFX now believe that they are uniquely placed to launch their multi-access platform "ATFX Connect" to a range of more diversified investors. Given our footprint and success within the Asian on line retail trading market we are confident that we can partner with and facilitate the needs of the more sophisticated investor by guaranteeing them the same high standards of customer service that we are renowned for and providing them with a more tailored approach to trading and pricing solutions to suit every client. 3. How much has ATFX invested into developing this product?

In the past year, we have invested a significant amount of time and capital to upgrade and develop our products in order to meet the needs of our clients.

We have completed the set-up of our platform offering using software from a market leading technology firm and this is branded as ATFX Connect. Using this technology, we are able to provide bespoke tier 1 bank and non-bank liquidity, competitive spreads, low latency and multi-platform access. We can deliver our price via a FIX API, a downloadable GUI, via the web, and in time, a mobile trading application. The technology allows us to aggregate price feeds from multiple liquidity providers.

In addition, we also have the ability to provide institutional liquidity from our own platform with OneZero bridge.

In the past year, we have invested a significant amount of capital, technology and time to upgrade and expand our products. We invested 3 million US dollars, plus more than 100 I.T professionals actively invested in the development to become technology driven broker.

5. What can we expect to see from ATFX Connect going forward?

The company will be launching its own retail trading platform which aims to enhance the user experience as well as increasing the product range and price. We will also offer the MT5 and our self-developed trading platform on the retail side of the business. We are investing a lot in our technology and infrastructure and one of our many projects is further enhanced our own aggregator and bridge. The group is also ready to expand further at a global level, and will continue to increase its market share in the jurisdictions it has become established in - the Europe, UK, Middle East, and Latin American regions.

ATFX connects the global mainstream of FX liquidities providers, e.g. Citi, Barclay, BOA, Deutsche Bank, etc, to our institutional clients. ATFX is also in discussion to secure its own Prime Broker in the international tier-one bank-level, which will give our clients the option to trade with ATFX on a give-up basis rather than opening a margin account.
